Classic Double Room felt expansive, with a colossal bed and twin roll top baths that added an extra touch of luxury. The honesty bar offered a delightful selection, allowing guests to unwind in beautifully designed spaces that echoed the property's Georgian roots.
Safety concerns arose with unsecured mats on the wooden floor, which moved every time they were walked upon. The lack of grabrails in the bath/shower area created a slip hazard that could lead to serious falls—a significant issue for those with mobility challenges.

Stunning garden views and peaceful atmosphere.
Unfortunately, my stay was marred by some concerning safety issues. The mats on the wooden floor felt insecure, making me worry about slipping. the lack of grabrails in the bath/shower area added to my anxiety about potential falls.

Stunning gardens and exquisite food experience
I had a lovely stay at this beautiful location, where the gardens were truly stunning and perfect for leisurely strolls. The food was exceptional, showcasing local flavors with dishes like the cheddar tart that left a lasting impression. Each room holds its unique charm, and I was particularly taken by the cozy interior design that made my experience feel special. The only aspect that could be improved would be the dinner menu options, which felt a bit limited during my visit.
